Amends The Administrative Code of 1929 to add a definition of "enforcement officer" for the Office of State Inspector General, defined as individuals listed under 71 Pa.C.S. § 5102 who are employed by the office with enforcement or supervision duties

Authorizes enforcement officers of the State Inspector General's office to carry firearms, concealed or otherwise, while performing official duties in accordance with written policies set by the State Inspector General

Requires enforcement officers to successfully complete basic firearms training and annual firearms training (or similar training approved by the State Inspector General) before carrying, possessing, or using a firearm in official duties

Takes effect immediately upon enactment
