Requires all group and individual health insurance policies in Pennsylvania to cover postacute neurorehabilitation services for acquired brain injuries, including cognitive communication therapy, cognitive rehabilitation therapy, neurobehavioral therapy, neuropsychological testing, community reintegration services, and day rehabilitation treatment

Prohibits insurers from limiting the number of days of covered postacute care or inpatient care when treatment is determined to be medically necessary by the patient's treating physician in consultation with the care provider and family

Mandates that coverage cannot be subject to greater deductibles, coinsurance, copayments, or out-of-pocket limits than other benefits provided under the policy

Requires providers to be verified as operating within a CARF-accredited brain injury rehabilitation program or other nationally recognized accredited program before insurers make payment

Takes effect 60 days after enactment, with requirements applying to newly filed policies immediately and to policies not requiring federal/state filing upon issuance or renewal 180 days after the effective date
