Removes HIV/AIDS status as a factor that elevates prostitution-related offenses from misdemeanors to third-degree felonies under Pennsylvania's prostitution statute (Section 5902)

Eliminates the felony enhancement for persons who committed prostitution offenses while knowingly HIV-positive, for those who promoted prostitution of someone who was HIV-positive, and for patronizing prostitutes while HIV-positive

Creates a resentencing mechanism allowing persons previously convicted under the repealed HIV-related felony provisions to petition the original sentencing court for resentencing to a misdemeanor grade

Resentencing is available both to those who have completed their sentences and supervision, and to those currently serving sentences, provided they are not under supervision for other matters

Takes effect 60 days after enactment
