Extends the deadline to correct vehicle safety violations from 5 days to 15 days after receiving a written notice from police or Commonwealth personnel

Motor carrier vehicles and buses must correct violations within 15 days or before the vehicle's next trip, whichever occurs first

Emission testing violations retain a separate 30-day compliance period for passing an enhanced emission inspection or obtaining a waiver

Vehicles cannot be operated on Pennsylvania highways after the 15-day or 30-day compliance period expires until evidence of correction is submitted

Act takes effect 60 days after enactment
