Practitioners may request meetings with parents to discuss vaccination schedules but cannot bill for these consultations; practitioners may also establish separate waiting rooms for patients on alternative schedules

Insurers are prohibited from refusing coverage, compensation, or reimbursement for vaccinations administered on schedules that differ from CDC recommendations

Insurers cannot provide financial incentives to practitioners for vaccinations on a per-member basis, beyond reimbursing the cost of the vaccine and its administration

Practitioners who violate these requirements face administrative penalties for unprofessional conduct from their licensing board; the act takes effect immediately
