Prohibits insurers from taking adverse actions against applicants or enrollees based solely on their use of PrEP (pre-exposure) or PEP (post-exposure) HIV prevention medications

Adverse actions include denying or canceling coverage, limiting coverage amount or extent, and charging different rates than other applicants or enrollees

Applies to life insurance, disability insurance, long-term care policies, and subscriber contracts issued by entities licensed under The Insurance Company Law of 1921

Violations constitute unfair discrimination under Section 353 of The Insurance Company Law of 1921 and unfair/deceptive practices under the Unfair Insurance Practices Act

Takes effect 60 days after enactment
