Sexually violent predators prohibited from residing within 2,500 feet of any public school, private school, parochial school, or day-care center for the duration of their registration period

Current residents within the restricted zone must relocate within six months of the law's effective date or upon lease expiration, whichever is later

If a school or day-care center opens within 2,500 feet of a sexually violent predator's residence, the individual must relocate within six months or upon lease expiration

Knowingly violating the residency restriction constitutes a second-degree felony

Day-care center defined as for-profit premises providing simultaneous care for five or more non-relative children; act takes effect immediately upon enactment
