School board members in Pennsylvania would be eligible to enroll tuition-free in approved courses at State System of Higher Education institutions that relate to their roles and responsibilities

The State System board must identify, develop, and update a list of eligible courses every 3 years

Each institution must annually report the number of school board members taking eligible courses and their total course enrollments

The General Assembly must appropriate funds by June 30, 2026, and each year thereafter to reimburse institutions for waived tuition costs

The act would take effect 60 days after enactment
