Reduces State Board of Nursing member terms from six years to four years, with a maximum holdover period of six months beyond the four-year term

Maintains the board composition of 13 members: the Commissioner of Professional and Occupational Affairs, three public members, six registered nurses (at least three with Master's degrees), two licensed practical nurses, and one licensed dietitian-nutritionist

Requires all appointed members to have been engaged in nursing or dietetics-nutrition practice in Pennsylvania for five years immediately preceding appointment and be Commonwealth residents

Limits members to no more than two consecutive terms on the board

Takes effect 60 days after enactment
