Designates May 9 through 18, 2025, as "Go Public Gardens Days" in Pennsylvania to encourage public visitation, appreciation, and volunteering at public gardens

Public gardens include botanical gardens, arboreta, cemeteries, zoological gardens, sculpture gardens, college campuses, historical homes, urban greening organizations, natural areas, and parks at all government levels

Pennsylvania's public gardens support more than 2,000 full-time employees, generate over $500 million in economic activity, and maintain $164 million in combined operating budgets

Public gardens welcome more than 4.2 million visitors annually in Pennsylvania, with one-third coming from out of town

"PA Gardens" coalition promotes public horticulture experiences while supporting biodiversity, conservation, education, research, and personal health and well-being
