Designates May 6, 2025, as "AKA Day at the Capitol" in Pennsylvania to recognize Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

Alpha Kappa Alpha is the oldest Greek-letter organization established by African-American college-educated women, founded January 15, 1908, at Howard University

The sorority has 360,000 initiated members across graduate and undergraduate chapters in 12 countries worldwide

Pennsylvania members belong to two regions: the North Atlantic Region (eastern PA) and the Great Lakes Region (western PA)

The advocacy day provides sorority members an opportunity to engage with elected officials on initiatives important to black women and girls and their local communities
