Designates June 2025 as "LGBTQ+ Pride Month" in Pennsylvania through a non-binding House Resolution

Recognizes Pennsylvania's historical role in LGBTQ+ activism, including the 1965 Dewey's lunch counter sit-in in Philadelphia (first LGBTQ+ sit-in in the nation) and Annual Reminder marches at the Liberty Bell from 1965-1969

Acknowledges Pennsylvania governors' pioneering actions: Governor Milton Shapp issued the first statewide LGBTQ+ equality resolution in the nation (1975) and created the Pennsylvania Council for Sexual Minorities (1976); Governor Richard Thornburgh became the first Republican governor to issue such a resolution (1979)

Highlights Pennsylvania LGBTQ+ resources including Philadelphia Gay News (oldest continually published LGBTQ+ magazine), John C. Anderson Apartments (LGBTQ+ elder housing in Philadelphia), and Persad Center (second oldest LGBTQ+ counseling center in Pittsburgh)

Expresses solidarity with the LGBTQ+ community amid increasing anti-LGBTQ+ sentiment and calls for continued work to eliminate discrimination
