Designates April 2025 as "Pennsylvania 8-1-1 Safe Digging Month" to promote awareness of underground utility line safety

Pennsylvania One Call System has provided over 50 years of service, now serving more than 100,000 excavators and 3,600 critical infrastructure owners statewide

The system processes over 1 million notification requests annually and transmits more than 6 million notifications to member utilities

Encourages excavators and homeowners to dial 8-1-1 or 1-800-242-1776 before digging to prevent injuries, environmental damage, and costly utility line damage

Reminds excavators that three business days' notice before digging is required by Pennsylvania's Underground Utility Line Protection Law (One Call Act)
