Establishes a legislative Hunger Task Force to study food insecurity and develop recommendations for alleviating hunger and increasing access to healthy food in Pennsylvania

Task force will consist of 7 members: 2 Senators (1 majority, 1 minority) and 5 House members (3 majority, 2 minority), with the Speaker appointing the chair

More than 1,710,400 Pennsylvanians (1 in 8) experienced food insecurity in 2023, with 475,000 children facing hunger, making Pennsylvania seventh nationally in childhood food insecurity

Task force responsibilities include reviewing historical and current food insecurity data, examining other governments' efforts, and recommending legislation or regulatory action

Final report with findings and recommendations must be submitted to both chambers and made available to the public
