Honors Lucyk's military service as a U.S. Army Captain with two tours in Vietnam, earning a Bronze Star with two oak leaf clusters, Air Medal, Army Commendation Medal, and Vietnam Service Medal

Recognizes his education at West Point (B.S., 1964) and George Washington University (MBA) and his legislative focus on veterans, seniors, environmental, and labor issues

Notes his leadership as chair of the House Military and Veterans Affairs Committee and the Tourism and Recreational Development Committee

Directs a copy of the resolution be transmitted to his surviving family, including children Matthew and Tara and grandchildren Lucy and Margaux
