Joint State Government Commission directed to study the feasibility of establishing a joint police and tactical unit training facility at Fort Indiantown Gap, operated by the Pennsylvania National Guard and Pennsylvania State Police

Study must examine estimated construction costs, start-up costs, and successful training models from other facilities and jurisdictions

Study must evaluate whether sheriffs and deputy sheriffs should have access to the facility and recommend continuing education and tactical training courses for multi-agency collaboration

Pennsylvania currently has more than 25,000 police officers and over 1,200 municipal, regional, and county law enforcement agencies that would potentially benefit from expanded tactical training

Report with findings and recommendations due to the House Judiciary Committee within 12 months of resolution adoption
