Urges the Department of Agriculture and Department of Education to collaborate on a statewide study of school cafeteria services across all Pennsylvania school districts

Study would establish assessment standards for school meal quality and quantity, including portion sizes and access to vegetarian and vegan alternatives based on grade or age level

Study would analyze nutritional and caloric content of breakfast and lunch meals served at public schools and compare them to established standards

Study would evaluate costs for each district to prepare meals and the costs charged to students

Departments must issue a report with findings and legislative recommendations to the General Assembly and post it publicly online within one year of adoption
