Establishes the Grandfamily Assistance Program within the Department of Aging to provide financial assistance to grandparents serving as primary caregivers for grandchildren whose parents cannot provide care

Creates the Grandfamily Assistance Program Fund in the State Treasury, funded through General Assembly appropriations, federal money, grants, donations, and gifts

Grants are distributed through area agencies on aging, which assist grandfamilies with applications and verify eligibility for reimbursement of child care-related expenses not covered by other sources

Limits administrative costs for area agencies on aging to no more than 1% of fund money

Requires the Department of Aging to report annually to legislative committees on grant applications, recipients, and fund allocations, and to post reports publicly online
