School districts, charter schools, and cyber charter schools must administer a student fitness assessment aligned with the Presidential Fitness Test beginning in the 2026-2027 school year and each year thereafter

Assessment must follow procedures outlined in Presidential Executive Order 14327 (published August 6, 2025) and related federal guidance from the President's Council on Sports, Fitness and Nutrition

Assessment must be conducted within regular health, safety, and physical education programs and cannot be used as a condition for student promotion or graduation

Department of Education must issue guidelines and materials for uniform administration and may establish recognition for student achievement consistent with national benchmarks

Act takes effect 60 days after enactment
