PA SB1151

Amends Pennsylvania's Workers' Compensation Act to modify physician eligibility requirements for conducting impairment evaluations of employees who have received 104 weeks of total disability compensation

Removes the requirement that physicians performing these evaluations must be "active in clinical practice for at least twenty hours per week"

Retains requirements that evaluating physicians must be licensed in Pennsylvania and certified by an American Board of Medical Specialties-approved board or its osteopathic equivalent

Impairment evaluations must still follow the American Medical Association "Guides to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment," 6th edition (second printing April 2009)

Takes effect 60 days after enactment
