Mandates scoliosis screening as part of Pennsylvania public school health programs for students in grades 5, 6, 7, and 9, as well as age-appropriate students in ungraded classes

Requires screenings to be conducted by personnel meeting qualification standards adopted by both the Secretary of Health and Secretary of Education

Exempts students already under physician observation or care for scoliosis, and students whose parents submit written objections to the screening

Directs the Department of Health to issue administrative guidelines to schools, with screening results to be recorded in pupils' school health records

Abrogates existing regulation 28 Pa. Code § 23.10 and takes effect 60 days after enactment
