Increases the maximum automation fee that clerk of courts offices may charge from $5 to $10 for initiating any action or legal proceeding in counties of the second class A and third through eighth class, including home rule counties

Automation fees must be deposited into a special clerk of courts automation fund in each county, restricted solely for automation and automation updates of the clerk of courts office

Adds new provision allowing the automation fee to be increased no more than once every three years, with increases capped at the percentage change in the Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U) over the preceding three years

Act takes effect 60 days after enactment
