Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) may establish separate playoffs and championships for "boundary schools" (public schools) and "nonboundary schools" (charter, parochial, and private schools)

Prior to separating playoffs, the PIAA board and oversight committee must conduct at least one joint public meeting in each district, accepting sworn testimony and written comments on whether sports should be separated

Within 10 days after district meetings conclude, the board must hold a public deliberation meeting to decide whether to separate playoffs for all sports, certain sports, or no sports, including discussion of fiscal impacts

The board must provide its written decision and reasoning to the Pennsylvania Athletic Oversight Committee within 5 days of the final meeting

Act takes effect 30 days after enactment
