Pennsylvania residents who are naturalized U.S. citizens and veterans of the Republic of Korea Armed Forces would receive the same rights, benefits, recognition, and privileges as U.S. military veterans

Eligible Korean Armed Forces veterans must have served on active duty during the Vietnam War between January 9, 1962, and May 7, 1975

Veterans must be recognized by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs under 38 U.S.C. § 109, which covers benefits for discharged members of allied forces

Commonwealth agencies may request discharge papers, separation documents, or VA documentation to verify eligibility for benefits

The act takes effect 60 days after enactment and amends Title 51 (Military Affairs) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes
