Pharmacies must post conspicuous notices informing consumers of their right to request price disclosures and keep copies of the law on file, with 30 days to update materials after any regulatory changes

Non-compliance constitutes a summary offense punishable by a fine of up to $500

The State Board of Pharmacy, in consultation with the Pennsylvania Health Insurance Exchange Authority and Insurance Department, will adopt implementing regulations

Rulemaking and definitions provisions take effect immediately; all other requirements take effect one year after enactment
