Raises loan caps for equipment and repairs: protective/accessory/communication equipment from $25,000 to $75,000; apparatus repair/rehabilitation from $80,000 to $150,000; used apparatus from $200,000 to $300,000

Extends loan repayment periods: loans $50,001-$300,000 extended from 15 to 20 years; loans over $300,000 extended from 20 to 30 years

Changes inflation adjustment schedule from biannual to annual, beginning January 1, 2027, based on Philadelphia-area Consumer Price Index

Requires protective equipment purchased through loans to meet standards ensuring it does not contain PFAS (perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances)
