Health care practitioners are required to pass this disclosure notice to patients at the time they deliver Lyme disease test results

The mandated disclosure advises patients experiencing ongoing symptoms to contact their provider about retesting or pursuing alternative treatment options

The bill amends the Patient Test Result Information Act of 2018 (P.L.719, No.112) by adding a definition for "clinical laboratory" and creating new Section 3.1

The act takes effect 60 days after enactment and does not relieve practitioners of existing professional obligations to inform patients of test results
