Surgical smoke is defined as plume generated from energy-generating surgical devices, including bio-aerosols, laser-generated airborne contaminants, and lung-damaging dust

The Department of Health will enforce compliance through on-site inspections and complaint investigations

Amends the Health Care Facilities Act (P.L.130, No.48) by adding Section 809.3; takes effect immediately upon enactment
