Current federal standards from the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010 restrict school milk to only fat-free and low-fat varieties, resulting in 1.2 million fewer students drinking milk in the first two years after enactment

Pennsylvania ranks second nationally in number of dairy farms, sixth in milk cows, and eighth in total milk production as of March 2024

Copies of the resolution would be transmitted to the President, U.S. Secretary of Agriculture, U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services, and all members of Congress
