Designates July 21-25, 2025 as "Construction Opioid Awareness Week" in Pennsylvania to address opioid abuse in the construction industry

Construction industry had the highest overdose death rate of any industry in 2020 at 130.9 deaths per 100,000 workers, according to the National Center for Health Statistics

Opioids caused over 700,000 American deaths between 1999-2024, with 54,743 (68%) of the 80,391 overdose deaths in 2024 involving opioids

Encourages construction industry to promote opioid awareness through worker discussions, educational materials, "Warn Me" insurance card stickers, and "Drug Take Back" events

Recognizes 15 construction organizations including the Keystone Contractors Association, which provides free naloxone to construction companies and advocates for keeping naloxone on job sites
