Pennsylvania Senate congratulates the West Suburban Little League 12-and-Under Softball Team for winning the 2025 Little League Softball World Series held August 3-10 in Greenville, North Carolina

Team went undefeated through both the Mid-Atlantic Region Tournament (July 20-25 in Bristol, Connecticut) and the World Series, allowing only one run across all tournament games

Championship victory on August 10, 2025 was a 1-0 shutout over the Central representative, making West Suburban only the second Pennsylvania team to win this title and the first since 1978

Roster included 12 players led by Manager Lester Gaunt, coaches Rick Baxter and Rick Bills, District Administrator Joseph Walkovich, and League President Jason Subich

Resolution formally congratulates the team and wishes them continued athletic and academic success
