Highlights that approximately 30% of early-stage breast cancers will metastasize, with patients facing a median life expectancy of two to three years and no known cure

Notes racial disparities in breast cancer outcomes: Black women are 40% more likely to die from the disease than white women, and breast cancer is the leading cause of cancer death for Hispanic women

Acknowledges the #LightUpMBC global campaign and the tri-color awareness ribbon (teal, green, and pink) representing the MBC community
