Pennsylvania Senate resolution honoring former State Representative Jerry Allen Stern, who passed away on December 11, 2024, at age 69

Stern served in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives from 1992 to 2015, representing the 80th Legislative District (Blair County), and held positions including Minority Caucus Secretary and chair of the Tourism and Recreational Development Committee

Prior to legislative service, he worked as Blair County Deputy Prothonotary (1982) and Prothonotary and Clerk of Courts (1989)

During his tenure, he secured funding for the Greenfield Township sewage treatment plant, Spring Cove School District, five local libraries, and agricultural water projects in the Susquehanna River basin

Extends Senate condolences to his wife Susan Elaine Waite Stern, children Gretchen Bettwy and Jason, and five grandchildren
