Directs the Joint State Government Commission to establish a Task Force on Recruitment and Retention of Law Enforcement, chaired by the Attorney General or designee

Task force membership includes 16 designated representatives from state agencies, law enforcement unions, corrections officer associations, and district attorneys' offices

Task force must examine recruitment and retention challenges for law enforcement officers, corrections officers, and prosecutors, and identify necessary changes to state statutes, policies, and procedures

Joint State Government Commission must accept public comments and submit findings and recommendations by April 30, 2026

Final report to be transmitted to the Governor, President pro tempore of the Senate, and Speaker of the House of Representatives
