Rhode Island House of Representatives extends condolences to the family of Josephine B. Finnegan, who passed away at age 104

Mrs. Finnegan was born in Maine, raised her family in Providence, and later resided in East Matunuck, where she continued working at the Ocean Mist until shortly before her death

She was the widow of Terrence Finnegan II, PFC, and mother to four children, with two grandchildren and one great-granddaughter

Known as "Granny Josie," she was recognized for her Polish cooking, artistic talents, gardening, seamstress work, and furniture remodeling skills

Secretary of State directed to transmit certified copies of the resolution to surviving children Rosemary Finnegan and Kevin Finnegan and their families
