Prohibits health insurers from imposing deductibles, copayments, coinsurance, or other out-of-pocket costs for diagnostic and supplemental breast examinations

Diagnostic breast examinations include mammography, MRI, or ultrasound used to evaluate abnormalities detected through screening or other means

Supplemental breast examinations include MRI or ultrasound screenings for individuals with no detected abnormalities but with elevated risk due to personal or family medical history

Applies to group and individual health plans, nonprofit hospital and medical service corporations, and health maintenance organizations

Takes effect January 1, 2027
