Designates January 25-31, 2026 as the 12th annual "Physician Anesthesiologists Week" in Rhode Island

Recognizes physician anesthesiologists for their 12-14 years of education and 12,000-16,000 hours of training that prepares them to manage life-and-death situations

Acknowledges their role as patient safety guardians in operating rooms, delivery rooms, intensive care units, pain management clinics, and VA facilities serving nine million veterans

Identifies the Anesthesia Care Team model led by physician anesthesiologists as the gold standard of care used in top hospitals nationwide

Directs the Secretary of State to transmit a certified copy of the resolution to The American Society of Anesthesiologists
