Fragile X Syndrome is a genetic disorder causing intellectual disability, behavioral challenges, and physical abnormalities; it is the most common cause of inherited intellectual disability and the most commonly known genetic cause of autism

Over 1.5 million Americans carry the FXS mutation and over 100,000 Americans have Fragile X Syndrome, though it frequently goes undetected due to lack of awareness

Urges Rhode Islanders to raise awareness, share information, and advocate for research advancements and family support related to Fragile X Syndrome

Directs the Secretary of State to transmit certified copies to the National Fragile X Foundation (NFXF) and Little Rhody Warriors
