Class P licensed caterers may now purchase alcoholic beverages from either retail or wholesale establishments in Rhode Island, removing the previous requirement that only Class B license holders could buy at wholesale prices

Wholesalers may refuse to fulfill caterer orders or set minimum quantity and dollar value requirements per order

Caterers may now serve alcoholic beverages provided by the event host at their residence, provided the alcohol remains under the caterer's control for the entire time they are onsite

Removes the provision that allowed caterers holding both Class P and Class B licenses to purchase at wholesale, replacing it with wholesale access for all Class P holders

Takes effect upon passage
