Worrell was a Registered Landscape Architect who trained at the Radcliffe Institute and published a book of her works in 2013

Served as Volunteer Director of Sunday School and Senior Warden at St. Martin's Episcopal Church beginning in the 1970s, and was the first woman on Agawam Hunt's Board of Governors in 1984

Served on the boards of Swan Point Cemetery and Southside Community Land Trust, where she promoted urban agriculture and community gardening

Secretary of State directed to transmit a certified copy of the resolution to her husband Rick Worrell and family
