Eliminates the five statutorily required subcommittees under the cannabis advisory board, including those focused on public health, public safety and community mitigation, cannabis industry, market participation, and social equity

Removes the eight non-voting members from the cannabis advisory board, including representatives from the departments of commerce, labor, health, education, public safety, business regulation, EOHHS, and URI College of Pharmacy

Changes the advisory board's primary function from broadly advising on cannabis use, commerce, regulation, and effects to specifically advising on regulation and policy development of the state's cannabis program

Replaces the "social equity officer" title for the governor-appointed chairperson with simply "chairperson"

Makes subcommittee creation discretionary rather than mandatory, allowing the chair to appoint subcommittees as needed to expedite the board's work
