Requires all public school and public higher education athletic teams to be designated as male, female, or coed based on biological sex, with teams designated for females prohibited from including students of the male sex

Applies to interscholastic, intercollegiate, intramural, and club sports at public schools and institutions belonging to NCAA, NAIA, or NJCAA

Establishes a sex verification process when disputed, requiring a physician's statement based on reproductive anatomy, testosterone levels, and genetic analysis

Creates private causes of action allowing students to sue for damages if deprived of athletic opportunities, and protects schools from adverse action by government entities or athletic organizations for maintaining sex-separated female teams

Takes effect January 1, 2027, with a two-year statute of limitations for civil claims
