Expands reimbursement options for public-health dental hygienists working in public-health settings to include "other insurance" and third-party payors such as Medicare, in addition to existing Medicaid reimbursement

Removes the prohibition that previously prevented public-health dental hygienists from seeking reimbursement from insurance sources beyond Medicaid and state healthcare insurance programs

Maintains existing framework allowing public-health dental hygienists to practice without direct dentist supervision in settings including schools, nursing homes, community health centers, and mobile dental programs

Takes effect immediately upon passage
