Expands protected categories in health insurance anti-discrimination law to include race, ethnicity, color, religion, national origin, language, sex characteristics, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, pregnancy-related conditions, age, disability, height, and weight

Prohibits healthcare entities from implementing categorical coverage exclusions for gender-affirming health care services, gender transition services, or reproductive health care

Bars insurers from denying, canceling, limiting, or refusing to renew health plans based on protected characteristics, and prohibits discriminatory marketing practices or benefit designs

Requires healthcare entities to notify enrollees about nondiscrimination requirements and provide grievance filing instructions, including website and telephone contact information

Applies to accident and sickness insurance policies, nonprofit hospital service corporations, nonprofit medical service corporations, and health maintenance organizations, with violations subject to enforcement under Title 42 chapters 14 and 14.5
