Licensed retailers selling alcoholic beverages for on-site consumption must provide a drink lid upon customer request, defined as a removable cover that attaches to the rim of at least one type of beverage container used on premises

Establishments must post a conspicuous notice stating: "Don't get roofied! Drink lids available here. Ask a staff member for details."

Retailers may charge a reasonable fee for lids based on wholesale cost, or may offer them free of charge

First-time violations result only in a warning from the department
