Limits municipal parking mandates for multi-family housing in transit-oriented areas to no more than one off-street parking space per dwelling unit

Transit-oriented areas defined as within ¼ mile of existing or planned regional mobility hubs or ⅛ mile of existing or planned frequent transit stops per the 2020 Rhode Island transit master plan

Modifies parking requirements for attached single-family dwellings from a tiered system (one space for up to 2 bedrooms, two spaces for up to 3 bedrooms) to a flat maximum of two off-street parking spaces

Adds a new standard provision (Section 28) to the zoning ordinance requirements specifically addressing parking requirements for various uses

Takes effect immediately upon passage
