Rhode Island Supreme Court Committee on Racial and Ethnic Fairness, in consultation with the RI Bar Association's Committee on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, would appoint replacement Judicial Nominating Commission members if vacancies are not filled within 30 days of term expiration

Judicial nominees must disclose all campaign finance contributions made by or on their behalf within a period prescribed by commission rule, including contributions to candidates, political committees, or political action committees

Commission must provide a meaningful public forum with time for public comment before taking final action on judicial nominations, and cannot require speaker registration more than 48 hours in advance

Written testimony must be accepted at any time before final action is taken on nominations

Commission must provide live audiovisual internet broadcasts of all open meetings and maintain an online archive of each recording
