Rhode Island House of Representatives celebrates the 25th anniversary of the Women's Fund of Rhode Island (WFRI), founded in 2001 as a statewide nonpartisan nonprofit

WFRI is the only statewide women's fund in Rhode Island dedicated exclusively to advancing gender equity through research, policy advocacy, strategic planning, leadership development, and civic engagement

The organization focuses on women's health, economic security, civic participation, paid family and medical leave, caregiving, reproductive health access, and voter engagement

The resolution extends gratitude to WFRI for improving health, economic security, and civic engagement of women and girls across the state

Secretary of State directed to transmit a certified copy of the resolution to Kelly Nevins, CEO of WFRI
