Reduces the Rhode Island high school attendance requirement for in-state tuition eligibility from three consecutive years to at least one year

Removes the exclusion of nonimmigrant aliens from eligibility for the tuition exemption, expanding access to all qualifying students regardless of immigration status

Eliminates the requirement for students without lawful immigration status to file an affidavit about their immigration application status

Removes the notification requirement when student immigration information is shared with agencies for purposes beyond implementing the tuition exemption
