Senate resolution honoring two students killed in the December 13, 2025 shooting at Brown University's Barus & Holley Building: Ella Cook (student of French, mathematics, and economics) and Mukhammad Aziz Umurzokov (freshman aspiring neurosurgeon)

Eleven people were shot at approximately 4:00 p.m. on the Brown University campus, with wounded students on Manning Walk while the shooter's location remained unknown

Commends Providence Fire Department personnel including Chief Derek M. Silva, Captain Robert Cataldo, Lieutenant John Faria, and Firefighters Jay Vita and Zack Hannon for rendering aid under active gunfire conditions

Recognizes law enforcement response from Providence Police, Rhode Island State Police, FBI, and ATF, as well as medical professionals at Rhode Island Hospital whose care resulted in survival of all wounded victims

Directs the Secretary of State to transmit certified copies of the resolution to the victims' families and to Providence Mayor Brett P. Smiley, Attorney General Peter Neronha, and police and fire department leadership
